The window in the front door is a little ornate but its also something I love about this house. The light from it casts interesting "light fairies" all over the room.
Aside from the lack of privacy/inability to hide from people who come to your front door, I actually love window door inserts. They make me think of romantic, Victorian novels for some reason.
Cathy did you see my neighborhood picture? There really isn't anything to hide from. My dog starts barking far before the visitors get out of their car, too. I just love the light it lets in.
